About Us

Kiama is situated in the Illawarra area of New South Wales, 120 kilometres south of Sydney. Kiama is a picturesque and artistically inclined seaside town of about 20,000 people who embrace music of all types. The Kiama area includes Gerringong, Gerroa and Jamberoo.

The Kiama Jazz Club has been operating since 1974 and is run by a group of local volunteers, who seek to add to the richness and diversity of the music available to Kiama.

The Club is an incorporated association and operates according to "model rules for associations incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1984" issued by the NSW Department of Consumer Affairs association.

The Club elects a new Committee at its Annual General Meeting in July/August each year.
